We’re all guilty of thinking colder is fresher, but some foods are better off far away from the refrigerator.

Cold temperatures change the texture of bread – it becomes dry, chewy and tough.



You can store sandwiches in the fridge, though. However, their taste will always differ from that typical of freshly-made ones. Both bread and sandwiches made with it will turn hard and stale very quickly if you keep them in the cooler.
